Brimfield is such a love/hate venture. The months-long rush of projects and setup to the big week is exhausting but oh so gratifying once all is complete. All the people I met this past week were inspiring and truly reaffirmed that what we’re doing is appreciated by more than just me. And while I love setting up shop and chatting with the influx of visitors in our tent, I wanted so much to be out there scouting finds. Keri and I did get out a few times and indulged in some retail therapy but the tent was always calling us back.
The highlight of the entire show for me had to be meeting other bloggers whom I admire and follow in blogdom. Theresa of Time-Worn Interiors was the essence of a sweet southern belle but with the stylings and sensibilities of a great industrial, Euro-chic. Debbie from Pink Pig was a laugh riot with great pickings - a bagful of which I walked away with. And then there are those favorite tents that I loved visiting just to drool over their amazing treasures. The Swedish antique furniture vendor in New England Motel didn’t have a piece that I didn’t adore! If I could furnish my home with any or all of his gorgeous reclaimed antiques, I would. The dutch linen lady from Holland had my heart the minute I saw her incredible aged mangle clothes and monogrammed pillow shams. Don’t worry, I did buy some beauties for myself for a future project for our master bedroom.
Here are some pictures from our tent. Can’t wait to do this again next year - I think
More to come later…

What a surprise to log on to your blog and see the screen “apron” I made! It looks great in the photo. Where do you set up at Brim? I set up across from Theresa (Time Worn Interiors) at New England Motel.

I truly enjoyed your enchanting space in Brimfield. My best friend and I came from Texas for a dream treasure hunt vacation. We had such a wonderful time, we’ve already booked and started saving for next May. I brought some small treasures home with me from your booth that I adore as well as some trinkets to share with my three daughters. I so wanted to bring home one of those sweet lavender trees, but just couldn’t see it making it back to Texas on the plane.
Thanks for sharing your booth with me once again.
Smiles,
Carol
